Hiring: Web & E-Commerce Experience Specialist

Creative Haus is seeking a Web and e-commerce Experience Specialist to join our digital team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in design and development, has strong project management skills, and is passionate about crafting seamless online experiences. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Figma for web design, WordPress, and Shopify for development and will collaborate with internal teams to bring digital projects to life.

While this role primarily focuses on design and development, there will be opportunities to join client meetings with the Client Relations Director to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design & UX/UI Development

- Create wireframes, mockups, and complete website designs in Figma, ensuring best UX/UI practices.

- Design intuitive and visually appealing landing pages that align with client branding.

- Optimize layouts for responsiveness and mobile-friendliness.

Website Development

- Develop custom WordPress and Shopify sites from scratch or using themes and page builders.

- Customize themes, templates, and plugins for functionality and brand alignment.

- Implement SEO-friendly structures to improve rankings and user experience.

- Optimize site speed, security, and performance.

E-Commerce Optimization

- Set up and customize Shopify stores, integrating necessary apps and payment gateways.

- Enhance e-commerce user journeys to improve conversion rates and reduce friction.

- Implement tracking tools for analytics and performance reporting.

Project Management & Internal Collaboration

- Manage tasks and timelines efficiently using Asana for project organization.

- Work closely with the Client Relations Director and internal teams to align website efforts with broader marketing goals.

- Occasionally participate in client meetings to provide technical insights and recommendations.

Technical & Support

- Provide website maintenance and updates, including security patches and plugin updates.

- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize performance.

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in web development, UX/UI, and e-commerce strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

- 5+ years of experience in web design & development, with a strong portfolio.

- Proficiency in Figma, WordPress, and Shopify (Liquid knowledge is a plus).

- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO best practices, and conversion optimization.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

- Experience using Asana or similar project management tools.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts when needed.
