Motion Fitness Okotoks is looking for a reliable Front Desk Supervisor.

The Front Desk Supervisor’s purpose is to supervise the front-end operation of the facility; work as a team with the General Manager to achieve the branch short and long-term business goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO OVERSEE AND MANAGE TO:

- Supervise all front desk staff on the daily operations
- Work with General Manager and office staff on implementing standards and procedures
- Conduct meetings for the front desk staff according to the schedule
- Consistently coach, mentor, and motivate team members to help deliver exceptional service to our guest
- Assist in the development and implementation of club programs and events
- Liaison between members and Membership Office: Including prospects and current members
- Attend other departments and Head office meetings
- Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training all front desk new hire
- Fields all member complaints and concerns and handles them according to the Motion Fitness customer recovery procedures
- Handle membership payments, cancellations, and freezes
- Assist General Manager in delivering employee performance reviews by providing feedback on employees’ performance
- Attends monthly departmental meetings
- Other duties as assigned

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Must be highly motivated and energetic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- An understanding of health club operations
- Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE**
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in customer service and sales is a requirement.
- Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Okotoks, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
