**Our expectations**

Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence, **the Web Analyst** is responsible for measuring the performance of RONA Canada’s Marketing initiatives across all digital properties. The incumbent will also be responsible of other online/offline dashboards.

Using strong analytical skills, the Web Analyst will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and presentation of various metrics and test results. Working with Google Analytics, Adobe, and other analytics platforms, the analyst will develop regular and ad-hoc reports, analyze trends, summarize, and present findings, and articulate key insights to stakeholders. Data storytelling will be essential to frame deep-dive analysis, build dashboards, set KPIs, and act as a data evangelist within the organization.

The Analyst, Web will work with multiple data sources to deliver relevant and reliable insights to improve the Marketing initiatives. The analyst will collaborate closely with the e-Commerce Product Management, Online Merchandising and Marketing by developing methods for measuring and analyzing cross-platform digital experiences, to create a view that integrates all channels and optimizes the marketing strategies.

**Your role**
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools
- Collaborate with the Marketing teams to transform business objectives into specific metrics and KPIs
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to provide recommendations that tie customer behaviour to business objectives
- Partner with various teams to improve current capabilities that leverage digital analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)
- Assist with requests for data extraction, manipulation, and integration to leverage customer behaviour data to inform product and merchandising decisions
- Package, share, and present complex analytical findings in a simple manner to other business areas

**The qualifications we are looking for**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, e-Commerce, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, or a similar field
- Experience in media acquisition and knowledge of media web platforms
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in analytics
- Product, marketing, web development, and/or retail background (an asset)
- Experience building analytics dashboards
- Advances Excel skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a power user for Google Analytics and Google Ads
- Comfort with technical documentation and independently developing innovative, untested solutions
- Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques (i.e. PowerBI)
- Strong business acumen and ability to understand business problems, develop hypothesis, test and learn
- Proficiency in data storytelling, pulling insights out of data, and visually organizing data to readily answer business problems
