**Our expectations**

The customer payment accounting analyst acts as an expert in his field and supports other team members. You will work at the level of customer payment accounting to record and support the different payment methods, bank reconciliations, reconciliation of WEB sites and accounting for various end-of-month accruals. You will be involved in various process improvement projects to simplify and improve the accuracy of results, and other related projects. You will contribute to the preparation and reliability of financial data, reconcile certain balance sheet items as well as analyze expenses and explain budget variances. In addition, as a customer payment accounting analyst, you will support the team in the preparation of management reports and analyses.

**Your role**
- Perform month-end accounting entries and establish month-end accruals;
- Prepare and document the reconciliation of the balance sheets of the assigned department in a timely manner;
- Prepare and document the accounting provisions for the assigned department;
- Analyze budget variances in comparison to the previous year and partner with the FP&A team to explain variances;
- Participate in the optimization and automation of processes;
- Ensure that internal controls are appropriate and fully respected;
- Participate in various special projects (on an ad hoc basis).

**The qualifications we are looking for**
- Bachelor degree business administration, accounting or finance
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
- CPA designation, an asset
- Experience in the retail industry is an asset
- Mastering Excel, advanced level
- Experience with accounting systems such as Oracle / EBS, an asset
- Strong communication skills, spoken and written
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Sense of initiative and rigor
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and multi-stakeholder collaboration skills
