We are a 24/7 Restoration Service for the Port Alberni Region, that specializes in the following areas: - Storm, Flood & Fire Response - Structural drying and Mold Removal - Contents Claims Inventory Handling and Cleaning - Mold Abatement - Asbestos Abatement We are looking for reliable, safety minded individual(s) who take pride in their work to join our Port Alberni team. We are looking for an experienced individual who has previous experience in the disaster restoration industry. We are offering a full time position, year round employment, benefits and the use of a company vehicle to get you to and from job sites. Wages will be negotiable. Skills & Abilities - Positive and professional attitude - Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team player - Have a meticulous attitude towards job completion - Safety conscious and able to wear the provided safety equipment - Experience in general carpentry - Ability to work with all construction related hand power tools - Experience in renovations - The ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in a timely manner. - Versatile in knowing that you will be required, to assist in other areas of the restoration company such as demolition, abatement, contents and emergency remediation due to flood, fire etc. Additional Requirements - MUST be Bondable and have a Valid drivers license - Must submit drivers abstract - Must be available for a rotating "On Call" schedule, evenings and weekends.
