When our clients experience a fire, flood, or other disasters, natural or man-made, we respond 24/7/365 to help them recover and get things back to normal. We are a preferred vendor to many of Canada's largest insurance companies.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Painter/Labourer with previous experience to join our family-oriented team in a ground-level opportunity at our **Port Alberni** branch. We are looking for a skilled painter who can also be diverse in other carpentry needs.

**Responsibilities**:
Experience in all aspects of residential painting practice and products

Able to paint to a professional finish

Positive and professional attitude

Self starter with the ability to work both independently and as a team player

Have a meticulous attitude towards job completion

Safety conscious and able to wear the provided safety equipment

Ability to work with all construction-related hand power tools.

Experience in renovations

Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in a timely manner

Versatile in knowing that you will be required to assist in other areas of the restoration company such as demolition, abatement, contents, and emergency remediation due to fire, flood, etc.

Be available for new floods/fires, after work hours, when On-Call. On-Call rotation averages 1 week in every 4 weeks

**Qualifications**:
Valid Drivers License and a clear Drivers Abstract with a clean Criminal Record Check

Superior Customer service skills and professionalism with clients

Able to work as a team

Able to communicate effectively

- painting: 1 year (preferred)
