Overview:
We are hiring for the role of a Assistant Manager and are looking for a hard working individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn. As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for performing basic automotive maintenance tasks and providing excellent customer service as well as managing the team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in the automotive industry.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience we expect from our Assistant Manager:

- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum 2-3 year of experience in the automotive service industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in math for handling cash transactions and calculating discounts or pricing adjustments
- Knowledge of store management principles, including inventory control and merchandising techniques
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Budgeting experience is an asset
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers
- Must be a strong team player
- Must be willing to grow within the company
- Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving up to 40 kgs.
- Ablilty to work on weekends is a must

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service
- Train new team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and store policies
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve results
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide product recommendations, and process transactions
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement sales strategies
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Driving customer vehicles into and out of the bays
- Operating POS system
- Recommending service for vehicles may need by providing knowledge to customers based off vehicle specifications
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services on vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for additional repair or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of services performed
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred 2-3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems 2-3 years
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- Familiarity with dealership procedures is a plus

Starting wage will depend on experience as well there is a bonus program for qualified applicants.

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Office: 1 year (required)
- Automotive Technician: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)

Work Location: In person
