**SUMMARY**

The Steamfitter-Pipefitter is involved in connecting pipe, hydro-testing, and rigging. This work exist indoors is typically physically demanding.

**Location**: Edmonton Fabrication Shop

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Rate**:$24.84-$37.26

**JOB DUTIES**
- Tasks
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Perform pressure tests by increasing pressure in pipe systems and observing pressure gauges to test for leaks
- Install and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and cylinders
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be an Alberta registered apprentice (or hold an apprenticeship certificate recognized by AIT)
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
- Knowledge of hydro testing is an asset
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field
- Organized and self-motivated
