**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems Accuro.
- Verify patient insurance information and handle billing inquiries as needed.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing and data entry.
- Collaborate with other office personnel to ensure optimal patient flow and satisfaction.

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (Accuro) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Medical receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

**Location**:
