We are a well-established Bar & Grill restaurant in the heart of Mississauga, offering a vibrant atmosphere, top-notch service, and a diverse menu that caters to our discerning clientele. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and ensure the continued success of our establishment.
**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, control costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a motivated and high-performing team.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness in accordance with franchise guidelines.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and franchise partners.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues to maintain a positive reputation.
- Studies in Hotel Management or a related field is an added asset.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in a high-end franchise environment.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front and back of house management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
**How to Apply**:
Pay: $31.25-$33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 48 per week
Additional pay:
- Overtime pay

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
