**The Opportunity**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with Knix's overall business objectives, prioritizing talent density and quality over speed.
- Collaborate closely with the executive team on filling key leadership roles across the business (C-Suite, VP, Director)
- Own and drive all employer branding initiatives to position Knix as an employer of choice, attracting top talent with a compelling and authentic brand presence.
- Partner with Finance and the CFO to own the headcount forecasting process, aligning recruitment with business growth and budget planning.
- Continuously monitor data and insights on the talent acquisition function's performance, using metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Retail, Marketing, Finance, Product, Merchandising, and Operations, to ensure alignment of talent acquisition strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Manage escalations, stepping in to address complex or high-impact hiring challenges as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruitment efforts.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
- Extensive background in building and leading high-performance talent acquisition teams, preferably in a fast-paced scale-up or high-growth environment.
- Successful track record of directly managing executive recruitment and working closely with C-Suite on critical hiring strategies and hard-to-fill positions.
- Solid understanding of omnichannel business strategies and the ability to attract top talent across various channels, including online platforms, social media, and direct sourcing.
- Knowledge of current recruitment trends, tools, and technologies, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to optimize recruitment efforts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- High adaptability and flexibility, willing to roll up sleeves and pivot when necessary to meet changing business needs and a natural ability for discretion at the leadership level.

**Note**: This hybrid role works out of our Toronto Office (179 John St) three days a week.
