Remote, Canada Screen Rant Full time

**Please note: This is a paid freelance remote position. We are only accepting applicants located in the United States and Canada.**

***Responsibilities**:

- Edit and publish a minimum of 10 posts daily on the Superheroes team.
- Or write an equivalent number of articles
- Participate in writer development and general writer management
- Oversee and facilitate writer communication in Discord/Asana
- Send feedback to writers according to Screen Rant's standards (as per our writing guides)
- Work with new writers to develop their skills and help them adapt to Screen Rant's standards
- Work with existing writers to develop those suitable for internal development (staff writing, self-publishing, editing)
- Idea generation
- Generate 10 or more ideas daily
- Develop content plans
- Reply to writer pitches
- Meetings
- Come prepared with notes and analyses in team meetings
- Additional tasks
- Identify evergreen articles to update (occasionally updating articles as well)
- Other administrative tasks where required by leads

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience in senior writing and editing roles (digital publications, entertainment content)
- Broad working knowledge of Marvel/DC in general, especially major franchises and popular streaming content
- Available Friday-Sunday (this is a weekend position only)
- Quick learner with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent command of the English language

- Analytics (GA)
- Trends analysis
- Freelance writer management
- Proven track record of growing a team, expanding coverage, and driving traffic
- Image editing
