**About the Role**:
**Build on your education and career experience as you**:
- Provide oversight and guidance for the design, build, and implementation of Meditech Expanse - electronic health record.
- Offer senior-level advice and consultation across various disciplines and stakeholders, contributing to strategic planning, business case development, and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Lead large, complex projects, managing timelines, resources, and change management strategies, while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Ensure project closure through post-implementation evaluation, measuring outcomes, assessing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning projects with Fraser Health's strategic plan.
- Manage assigned staff, including selection, supervision, evaluation, work assignment, discipline, staffing requirements assessment, and orientation.
- Implement human resource standards and procedures, interpret collective agreements, address grievances, and represent management in grievance processes.
**To join our team, we will look for you to have**:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related study or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Seven (7) years of related experience in a large complex organization including at least three (3) years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Experience with health and corporate information systems.
- Experience developing and enhancing electronic health records
- Experience with working in a clinical multi-disciplinary environment involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
This is a Temporary Full Time Permanent position, and based in Surrey, B.C. and is offered Hybrid, work from home. This role requires site travel from Burnaby to Hope BC and a car is required.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provides senior level advice and guidance by consulting to all disciplines and stakeholders within an assigned portfolio by keeping abreast of the initiatives and issues within the business areas assigned and conducts strategic planning in the development of business cases, and process re-engineering initiatives.
- Provides project leadership to a variety of large, complex projects including a number of diverse disciplines and/or affecting multiple stakeholders; develops and manages project timelines; facilitates change management strategies; defines tasks; identifies, sources and manages resources such as contractors, staff or dollars; identifies and mitigates project related risks; provides guidance and direction to team members.
- Ensures project closure by providing post-implementation evaluation; measuring key outcomes, assessing project related staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, obtaining project sign off, and documenting lessons learned. Ensures that projects and initiatives are aligned with the Fraser Health strategic plan.
- Manages assigned staff by selecting, supervising, and evaluating staff; assigns, evaluates and monitors work assignments; disciplines staff as necessary and initiates terminations; assesses and recommends staffing requirements; orients staff; authorize leaves of absences and approves overtime as necessary.
