Our speech language pathologists hold the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to focus on a family centered model to provide services to clients in a community setting.

**The successful Speech Language Pathologist will**:

- Current active registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario
- Be safety focused and accountable
- Have knowledge of legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice
- Have knowledge of principles of reflective practice
- Use a systematic approach to decision making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of the speech language care plan
- Be able to manage time and workload effectively
- Ensure appropriate and secure documentation
- Be able to work within a flexible schedule and adaptable environment
- Have the physical capabilities to perform the duties of the position.
- Have a valid Driver’s License and reliable insured vehicle
- Have vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) within 12 months of hire (or in process), with a current Criminal Records Check
