We are looking for a Weekend Supervisor to join us who is just as dedicated as we are in providing exceptional customer service and shares our passion. This role will be responsible for supervising our Langley staff on weekends, with additional shifts available during the week.

Some of the responsibilities of the role are, but not limited to:

- Provide day-to-day supervision of the Langley team, ensuring performance meets our expected standards
- Train, develop and motivate staff, empowering employees to excel in their roles (ongoing sales/training program)
- Inform team of daily duties
- Liaise with owners on product development, collaborating on weekend promotional opportunities and initiatives
- Maximize sales and profitability through effective and creative merchandising
- Efficiently stock, rotate and display product in a neat, organized and appealing manner
- Ensure grocery pricing is accurate and up to date in the system
- Motivate the team to increase sales, while ensuring operational efficiency
- Handle customer inquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt, polite and efficient manner
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures
- Build strong relationships with customers and vendors
- Provide additional customer service support and merchandising support as needed
- Ensure online orders are being fulfilled
- Ensure inventory is being received properly
- Ensuring managers are set up for success during the week, assisting with orders when necessary
- Responsible to execute product Specials and other promotions

What we are looking for:

- At least 2 years of grocery experience
- Retail supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to commute to Langley location
- Although not required, experience ordering produce would be deemed a major asset
- Strong leadership/managerial abilities
- Previous experience working with and managing budgets
- Comfortable with technology
- Understanding of nuances of sourced items
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Is a good listener and driven to educate others
