**Stuyvers Bread is currently looking for Weekend Sanitation Workers for Saturday and Sunday shifts This position is in our new automated production plant.**

** EXPERIENCE IN A FOOD PRODUCTION/MANUFACTURING SANITATION ROLE IS REQUIRED - experience must be included with your resume to be considered **

**Must be able to work BOTH Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts**

Sanitation Workers are responsible for cleaning in the bakery production plant on the weekends, when we are not running the production. The duties include:

- Cleaning throughout the automated production facility: walls, floors, conveyors, machines, all areas located in the production plant
- Work in the washdown room cleaning Mixing bowls, utensils, etc
- Perform specific sanitation duties as assigned by Supervisor; based on the required cleaning needs each weekend
- Wash and sanitize employee washrooms and locker rooms
- Keep various items and materials stocked throughout the plant and building
- Clean production area stations and overall production plant
- Empty garbage’s and production waste bins

**Experience/Assets**:

- One+ years’ experience in sanitation; specifically in a food production plant with machinery/conveyors etc
- Sanitation chemical training & Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) knowledge
- Familiarity with a sanitation environment and equipment

**Skills and Abilities**:

- **Good attendance is mandatory**:

- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, performing industrial type cleaning tasks, lifting up to 75lbs if required
- Able to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently and correctly
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to identify potential issues and solve problems
- Work well under pressure and take accountability
