Accounting Manager

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage accounting procedures to ensure day-to-day tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Monitor all levels of the accounting and financial reporting process.
- Facilitate the monthly accounting close for the consolidated corporate entities by preparing and reviewing journal entries and related support.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and resolve related accounting issues.
- Identify and implement standardized accounting, tax, and finance best practices across organization.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, consolidation, and reporting; ensure adequate liquidity to meet the organization's needs by actively managing banking and external financing activities
- Develop short
- and long-term financial objectives while providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts to enhance financial performance and support project development, and advice on the financial implications of real estate construction activities.
- Prepare financial and fiscal reports, including expense/billing/invoice and balance sheet, cash flow statements, and provide periodic reports to the management team and other financial partners.
- Oversee all payroll activity for the organization and lead the design, implementation, and timely calculations of wage incentives and salaries for the staff.
- Assist with financial statement audits including preparation of supporting documentation; prepare and review account reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts with adequate support.
- Conduct reconciliation of all project accounts and report to external accounting or auditing firms as needed.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferred in real estate construction, residential or commercial building development or property management, etc.
- Solid background in full-cycle accounting with accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CGA)
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result orientation.
- Strong computer skills are required with proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and familiar with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, etc.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
