**Reporting to the Financial Controller and VP of Finance, the Payroll Manager will work as a strategic member of the Kids & Company Payroll team to assist in payroll/employee administration in ADP and government and third party related responsibilities.**

Payroll/Employee Administration
- 2+ years of payroll management experience with a small team
- Manage the bi-weekly, multi-provincial and state payrolls using ADP WFN solution, US & CAD
- Aiding in various payroll reconciling & preview processes, including ADP data audits, to ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely
- Communicate with and resolve pay discrepancies or other concerns with HR department
- Coach and mentor payroll staff
- Liaise with and assist Human Resources in maintain employee payroll records within ADP
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute (formerly CPA) or equivalent experience; Certified Payroll Manager designation, an asset

Government/Third Party Related Responsibilities
- Validate and respond to Service Canada inquires
- Prepare/Review government reporting requirements

Knowledge and Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting practices & procedures (including account reconciliations)
- ADP Workforce Now experience in both US & Canadian systems
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft excel
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Good English communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and work to strict deadlines
