Spray Foam Insulation Technician

Responsibilities:

- Spray Polyurethane insulation on buildings and structures according to blueprints and specifications
- Scrape excess sprayed areas clean for the next crews
- Cut and install membrane to fit specific areas
- Secure and cover other surfaces with poly, staples, tape, or adhesive
- Install vapor barriers and fire-retardant materials as required
- Repair, troubleshoot and maintain equipment and the spray foam rig
- Clean work area and dispose of waste materials properly

**Experience**:

- Familiarity with polyurethane spray foam equipment, supplies, safety standards
- Previous experience in spray foam installation preferred
- Working at Heights and Lift certificate/experience
- Possession of current spray foam license is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of Graco SPF equipment.
- Clean Drivers License
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Ambitious, detail-oriented, friendly, willing to learn/adapt, and works well in a team environment.
- Blueskin: Membrane installation techniques for proper Blueskin installation
- Blueprint reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for accurate installation
- Building: Understanding of building structures and how insulation fits into the overall construction process
- Proficient in using hand tools such as utility knives, tape measures, and saws

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
