The Data Analyst position will be involved in creating analysis for the National Infusion Pharmacy Business activities, Inventory analysis and system efficiencies and accuracy. The position supports all teams involved in HCCSS operations, BCS and ProRx. Occasionally this position may provide support to other teams as deemed appropriate by the Manager, Projects & Compliance.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Reporting to the Manager, Projects & Compliance, the Data Analyst will identify and communicate data-driven insights that allow the team to make more informed decisions.
- Working together with the BCS, ProRx and the HCCSS teams to understand customer demand, developing monthly forecasts, reporting and trend analysis.
- Working with the Procurement and Inventory Team to analyze product requirements and demand to ensure adequate pipeline of supply.
- Assist with root cause analysis for negative inventory incidents and assist with finding solutions.
- Act as a liaison between the Contract Managers and the Purchasing Team to improve the purchasing operations based on data analysis and understanding customers ordering patterns.
- Assist with all improvement initiatives pertaining to inventory management.
- Establish processes and reporting best practices for order and supply data to support the BCS, ProRx and HCCSS business. Also establish process for monthly sales tracing reports for vendors.
- Support Manager, Supply Chain taking into account the competitive environment, internal and external business interests, put forth data-based recommendations for management´s evaluation & decision.
- Using statistical tools, interpret data sets, to support diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Supporting Manager, Supply Chain on risks to order supplies in the context of a business environment.
- Assist the Manager, Supply Chain in making good relationships with customers and intercompany departments.
- Update Selling price as instructed by Contracts Manager.
- Assist the Purchasing and Inventory team in consumption analysis for new contract analysis by providing support in consumption analysis.
- Support the Manager, Supply Chain in making detailed specifications for new products as and when required.
- Providing forecasts & order requirements to Purchasing.
- Ensure stored data is easily accessible to internal teams as appropriate.
- Identify corrupted data and propose solutions to clean up the database.
- Support all teams equally in data mining related activities; propose analytic tools and solutions, data modeling and interpretation.
- Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
- Liaise with Data Analysts from other business lines to collaborate on initiatives or adapt mutually beneficial processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualification
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- BSc/ BA in Business or Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst including data mining, analysis and reporting in a healthcare, pharma, or medical product environment.
- Experience in a healthcare, pharma and/ or B2B technical sales environment.
- Experience with supply chain processes (e.g. purchasing & inventory management) and order management processes.

**STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE**
The employee must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
**PERFORMANCE REVIEW**
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the three-month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis. Input will be sought from employee, supervisor(s) and management. In addition, the employee will also be reviewed based on any ongoing client feedback and the extent to which performance meets expectations.
