Data Analyst

SinaLite is a family owned business which has been operating since 1999. What started as a small 1,200 square-foot print shop which operated a single small AB-Dick printer has blossomed into a company of 150+ employees, containing several million dollars worth of printing equipment, and achieving a yearly sales revenue of 40+ million with over 20,000+ customers across North America.

Responsibilities and Duties

General and Administrative

• Communicate effectively with the Management Team, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that company objectives and customer objectives are met.
• Comply with all OHSA safety requirements.
• Participate as a key player in the company by supporting operations and management as needed.
• Follow systems and procedures outlined in our Procedure Manual.
• Keep current on the latest technologies and software tools.
• Maintain and assist in the development of appropriate departmental databases including but not limited to finance.
• Assist the Management in the establishment and implementation of processes and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Data Analysis

• Collect, process, and clean data from various sources for analysis.
• Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business insights.
• Create data visualizations using business intelligence tools to effectively communicate findings to the team.
• Identify patterns, trends, and insights in large datasets to support business decisions.
• Work closely with management and teams across the company to understand their data needs and provide analytical solutions.
• Maintain and manage company databases and ensure data integrity and security.
• Assist in the creation and tracking of key performance indicators.
• Work on data analysis projects in various departments including but not limited to marketing, manufacturing, finance, etc
• Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python or R.
• Extensive experience with business intelligence tools like Domo, Tableau, or PowerBI is a must.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively report findings to the team and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across multiple departments.

Working Conditions

• Intensive computer work and extended use of the computer keyboard and mouse.
• Sitting for prolonged periods of time - up to 8 hours per day.
• Working remotely and in office as required at the sole discretion of the company.
• Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Work area may have fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• Exposure to ink and chemical fumes, and airborne particles such as paper dust and drying powder.
• Appearance at all times must represent the company image.
• Occasional additional hours may be required due to operational requirements.
