The Role:
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Data Analyst to own and advance our data platform and analytics infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring reliable, high-quality, secure data pipelines; strong data governance; and scalable data solutions that support executive decision-making, regulatory requirements, and business growth. You will be the primary point of accountability for data engineering, driving best practices in pipeline development, data modelling, data quality, and platform reliability across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Cloud infrastructure experience (CICD – continuous integration/continuous delivery)
- Terraform experience (IaC - Infrastructure as Code)
- Collaborate and coordinate with a team of data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and help them use data to generate insights and make decisions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all data-related responsibilities
- Build and optimize data models and data warehouse solutions
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and reliability
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage data infrastructure
- Provide ad hoc administrative support as required
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).
- Experience with data governance best practices
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Snowflake).
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with private lending, mortgage industry preferred
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to lead projects with minimal guidance
Knowledge (Education/Experience) Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data engineer or data scientist role
