**The Role**:
This role is a vital part of the business. It is responsible to ensure that finished goods and incoming materials meet quality standards.

**What you get to do**:

- Evaluate finished goods and collect samples for testing or customers, to ensure meets quality standards & specifications.
- Collects & evaluate incoming materials and evaluates against quality standards & specifications.
- Completes quality checks on finished cases and first production/qualification runs.
- Performs or coordinates calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Conducts GMP & other inspections. Initiates follow up to deviations.
- Maintains records documentation and finished product samples.
- Supports investigation on quarantine materials, finished goods and customer complaints.
- Responsible to report food safety problems and/or quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate actions.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Post-secondary education in Sciences or related fields.
- Strong communication, problem solving, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and a physically demanding job in fast paced environment while maintaining accurate information & documentation.
- Analytical and Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong team player with food interpersonal, communication and team-working skills who takes initiative.
- Ability to handle conflicts and provide resolutions.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Ability to do product analysis (including though not limited to: oxygen, moisture, color, density, grind analysis)
- Knowledge and understanding of Goods Manufacturing Practices.
