**Summary**

**Responsibilities**

Accounts Payable:

- Print and enter invoices from online accounts
- Ensure all proper authorizations are in place
- Process payments semi-monthly for approval by CEO
- Calculate and prepare WSIB payments

Accounts Receivable:

- Create and enter all accounts receivable invoices
- Manage the status of A/R accounts to ensure collections are up to date
- Oversee special account issues and accuracy of order desk A/R invoicing

Banking:

- Maintain monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and/or provide all required data for monthly bank reporting
- Manage and maintain all banking related files and processes

Deductions and Reporting:

- Provide daily, weekly, monthly annual reports as required

Other:

- Assist with monthly physician pay calculations by external reports calculated through Excel
- Main contact for vendor phone calls
- Backup for bank deposits
- Balance sheet analysis with proper adjustments
- Other duties as required
- The ability to work additional hours if needed at busy times of month or year. Advance notice will be given

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a similar role
- Accounting and/or Bookkeeping courses an asset
- Broad exposure to accounting in a small/mid-sized organization an asset
- Excellent working skills in MS Office including Excel
- Experience in Simply Accounting and/or ADP Workforce Now are assets
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, numeric skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time management
- Ability to work safely and follow all privacy regulations
- Excellent customer service skills

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
