Bureau Veritas is looking for a ***Laboratory Analyst - HRMS Ultra Trace Lab** **(Full-time)** Join our talented team of experts in the scientific field to advance your technical knowledge and advance your career. As a Laboratory Analyst, your main responsibilities are to: - Prepare regular and complex samples for analyses by High Resolution GC/MS or Low Resolution GC/MS according to SOP protocols. Utilize daily workload reports to ensure all extraction hold times are met. - Successfully perform annual Proficiency Testing once trained. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Ensure that deadlines are met. - Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations. - Keep work area clean, neat and organized. - Contribute to daily and weekly planning. - Other responsibilities as assigned by their supervisor. **You are the ideal Laboratory Analyst,** **if you have/are**: - A University degree or college diploma in Sciences, preferably chemistry or environmental related and/or equivalent experience. - Two to three years’ experience in an Environmental laboratory with extractions of waters and soils. - The ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good record keeping skills and attention to detail. - The ability to accurately follow Standard operating Procedures (SOPs) and instructions. - A dynamic, energetic, motivated individual with a positive outlook and "can-do" attitude.
