Overview:
Kimco Steel Sales Limited is looking to hire a detail-oriented Fleet Dispatcher to join its dispatching team. In this position, duties will include communicating with our customers to record their requirements, planning and adjusting routes and scheduling drivers to deliver or collect freight.

Fleet Dispatcher Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:

- Scheduling drivers to make freight deliveries or collect freight
- Communicating with customers about freight details, delivery or pick-up times/special handling request
- Planning routes and accommodating route changes as needed
- Preparing dispatch documents, as well as generating freight bills and invoices
- Maintaining records of dispatch calls, driver routes, route changes, as well as delivery and pick-up times
- Knowledge of transportation regulation/requirements/laws to ensure compliance
- Reviewing driver's logs, including dispatching calls and arrival time
- Monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules and complaints
- Able to work with a team or independently

Able to stay calm and collected and maintain composure in high stressed situations

Able to work in a fast pace environment

Fleet Dispatcher Requirements/Qualifications:

- High School Diploma (minimum)
- At least one year experience as a fleet dispatcher in a similar industry
- Must have the ability to schedule drivers, plan routes, and dispatch drivers to customers locations in a well organize manner
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with office software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exceptional planning ability
- Bi-lingual is an asset
- MUST be able to answer/respond to after hours phone calls

Note: Pay rate will be based on experience and qualifications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
