**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the procurement of a portfolio of vendors for fulfillment of both retail demand and commercial projects
- Create and adapt sales forecasts
- Understand and influence margin and promotional impact on portfolio in partnership with vendors
- Create, track and expedite orders in a timely manner to ensure forecasted retail and scheduled project needs are met
- Improve in stock availability and forecast accuracy in weekly rhythm
- Work with the Logistics to manage the flow on inbound inventory
- Work cross functionally with peers buyers on the management of inventory for cross over models.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure dates are accurate and update as required
- Assist project teams in finding solutions when product is delayed or not available when needed
- Work with Accounts Payable and Vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
- Develop and maintain great relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams and vendors
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure proper processes are followed and executed in a timely manner
- Communicate proactively and regularly with Sales on upcoming purchasing needs
- Work with the Purchasing Manager on the development of new strategies that improve the procurement process and management of inventory
- Think about “What’s best for Coast” when collaborating and decision making
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- Industry experience preferred but not required
- Commercial construction experience an asset
- Required to be based in Vancouver with the ability to work hybrid remote/onsite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze information and processes
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively as part of a cross functional team
