**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
- Handle administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.

**Skills**
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques with experience in orthodontics and pediatrics preferred.
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Experience with dental receptionist duties, including scheduling and managing patient inquiries.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.00 per week
