Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Coordinate patient dental care with assigned providers
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with coworkers to ensure efficient patient care

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in a dental office, medical office, or similar healthcare setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as Dentrix or Power Practice
- Knowledge of dental terminology and front desk operations
- Strong administrative skills including being at ease with processing payments

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
