Job Summary:

Our Line Cooks maintain and drive these messages through preparing quality and consistent menu items to exacting standards and ensure that cleanliness guidelines are exceeded in a high volume kitchen_

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare ingredients for menu items following standard recipes
- Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Assist with food inventory management by communicating par levels
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality standards

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Proficiency in meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a restaurant or food service industry is preferred

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
