**ABOUT US**

Silent H is a Mexican street cuisine restaurant elevated to a gourmet level. Our goal is to have each of our dishes tell a story; adding to an already unique experience in our multi floored venue. Conveniently located at 461 King St West. Our venue has two patios, a tequila bar and a main room that seats up to 150 guests. We're striving to develop a fantastic team of visionaries and proactive leaders that are passionate about cooking and giving excellent customer service.

**LINE COOK**

The line cook is primarily responsible for working on the different stations of the restaurant, You will be an active member in the production and preparation of cold, prep and warm food.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Prep necessary items for the daily service.
- Pay close attention to delivery times and ensure items go out to guests in the best possible manner.
- Follow systems & our cook book.
- Follow all safe practices and policies to maintain a “Green” standard for Toronto Public Health.
- Complete other tasks as required and be prepared to help in other areas of the kitchen as needed.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a line cooker.
- Attention to detail.
- Be a team player who works well in a team.
- Know how to handle multiple orders.
- Well organized & clean.
- Work on events for 200 ppl or more.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with events taking place at the venue.

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 3 years (preferred)
