**Project Manager**

**Company Description**

WB Melback Corporation is a company that provides Project Management and General Contractor Services to the Mining, Forestry and Energy Sectors specializing in large and small scale construction services, and are looking to fill positions for projects across Canada.

**Responsibilities**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Completely understand the project management process
- Work with the client from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
- Understand project goals and deadlines
- Have a comprehensive understanding of all cost involved
- Develop project leads
- Create the schedule for each project and match the talent to the job
- Propose value-added budget ideas
- Follow up on proposals
- Commitment to details and well organized
- Outstanding customer service skills

**Required Skills**:

- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ensures positive customer relations and satisfaction
- Develops detailed schedules for completion
- Completing projects within established budgets
- Financial reporting of current and projected costs and profit
- Issues contracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Coordination with subcontractors
- Monitors quality and safety
- Resolves issues in a timely manner
- Exceptional communication skills (written/oral)
- Extremely organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Must work efficiently under mínimal supervision
- Must be a detail-oriented

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree (Construction/Business Management, Engineering) or PMP Certification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Construction and Project Management
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow‐up skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- A valid driver's license is required

**Experience**:

- Project Management: 5 years (preferred)
