**Essential Job Functions**
**Aftersales Administrator - Job duties**
- Assisting customers in obtaining RV parts and accessories.
- Monitoring daily parts traffic, receiving parts, and inspecting them for quality and accuracy.
- Facilitating timely returns and item credits for incorrect or damaged items.
- Collaborating with the CW department to facilitate warranty returns or re-orders.
- Maintaining inventory control through replenishment, stocking, and physical counting of parts.
- Coordinating with the manager to establish stock levels and select items for weekly and special parts orders.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchased and returned parts.
- Collecting payment from customers and ensuring that requested parts are accepted before ordering.
- Scheduling, documenting, and providing timely updates to customers on the progress of their parts orders.
- Scheduling installation appointments with designated service staff members.
- Scheduling, tracking, and facilitating outside repairs when necessary.
- Interacting with customers daily to promote specialized product needs and installations.
- Promoting and showcasing Arbutus RV supplied parts and accessories, including presenting customers with options for Dealer Installed Options (DIO) and accessories to enhance their RVing experience.
- Calling customers in advance to confirm demonstration dates and times.
- Demonstrating all functions and features of the unit being demonstrated, including the safe connection of fifth wheel and trailer hitches, documenting deficiencies that require correction, and confirming propane and gas tank levels, as well as empty holding tanks.
- Inspecting vehicles to accurately determine the necessary parts for repairs or installations.
- Fostering a safe and positive work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Responding to and interacting with lot visitors, customers, and staff in a positive and supportive manner that aligns with the dealership's values and promotes its products.
**Essential Job Skills**
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ Years in a Service Advisor role preferred
- Experience in the RV or automotive industry a bonus
- Exemplary customer service skills are mandatory for this position
- Very strong attention to detail is essential
- Ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately within tight deadlines
- Must be comfortable working with computers and software
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong self-management
- Highly organized
**Health & Safety Considerations**
- Strict adherence to all health & safety policies is necessary
- Ability to lift parts and accessories up to 50 lbs.
- Willing to work in a shared office space
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Able to work comfortably with computer equipment, including monitor, keyboard and mouse
- Bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching
- Ability to deal with customers, vendors, management, and co-workers using calm, effective and courteous communication
