**BowDog is now hiring a full-time Client Specialist**

At BowDog our Client Specialists are the warm and welcoming faces that greet our clients and guests every time they visit our resort. They are responsible for the intake and check out processes for all clients. We rely on them to communicate with our clients about their pet’s stay and care needs to enable our Pet Care staff to provide the best care experience in Calgary. - Administrative or office management experience. Serving experience is also considered a good fit for this busy role.
- Be friendly, approachable, professional and energetic. BowDog is a fast paced environment and the shifts are busy.
- Be attentive to the smallest details and be an effective communicator. The quality of care we are able to provide guests depends on your ability to actively listen and communicate.
- Be proficient using Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, etc).
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism on the phone, online and in person while speaking to clients and other staff members.
- Have an intuitive ability to adapt to and trouble shoot new software.
- Be an active listener, our clients often don’t know just what they need or how we can help them. It’s your job to offer pet care solutions that make their lives easier.
- Lots of personal confidence and a positive attitude under pressure.
- Team work, the ability to take direction and coaching to make your job easier and the customer's experience better.
- A clean, crisp, approachable and professional appearance. A dress code applies in this position.
- Open Availability. We are open 7 days a week.

Shift Requirements:

- Suggest and make in person reservations for current clients or new walk in clients interested in services
- Provide tours of the BowDog facility
- Ensure client files are up to date and communication is current
- Preparing guest run cards, medication labels and luggage notes with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Check guests in and out for all facility services
- Process payments, refunds and reconcile accounts
- Ensure accuracy in client billing
- Be the welcoming face and personality of BowDog
- Re-stocking and cleaning the reception area and retail store throughout your shift
- Participate in department and company wide meetings

Pay: $16.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
