Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a leading Telecommunications Construction company servicing customers in the Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated, self-managed Project Supervisor to join our growing business. We offer annual vacation and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Project Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a wide portfolio of projects. They will manage and coordinate all construction activity including material ordering, delivery scheduling, tendering, creating as-builts, and invoicing.

Key responsibilities include:

- Meet Critical Customer & Network In Service Dates
- Effectively manage crews including defining working hours and critical due dates
- Ensure field utility locates are ordered immediately in order to prevent unnecessary delays to construction schedules
- Visit construction site regularly to ensure Customer standards are being adhered to
- Manage timelines for equipment/material ordering to ensure items are available when required
- Ensure all critical Customer & Network in service dates are met to secure customers
- Work closely with Project Managers to meet any escalated customer in service dates
- Ensure customer satisfaction with all work performed on and/or near their premises
- Initiate pre-construction meetings with City, TTC, Police, and traffic services to ensure traffic disruptions are kept to a minimum during the construction phase
- Explore the possibility of engineering a proposed project based on Customer & Municipal standards, includes producing a cost estimate for the proposed project
- Responsible for final engineered as-built drawings that meet Customer standards for each project

Our successful applicant must possess the following:

- 10 years or more CATV and Fibre Optic Knowledge would be an asset
- Self-start with great organization skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in civil and hydro line construction would be an asset
- Ability to understand and interpret engineered drawings (civil and building)
- Computer efficiencies with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Drive
- A valid Ontario G license (or equivalent) with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Demonstrated ability to manage upwards of 10-20 employees per day across multiple projects
- General knowledge of equipment/vehicles such as backhoe, boring machine, hydrovac, and bucket truck would be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
