We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is looking for a “Boots on the Floor” Quality Assurance Technician role to assist the Quality Assurance Manager. Your role requires an eye for detail both on Quality, Food Safety, Building Construction and Continuous Improvement. As the Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

- Daily review of pre-operational checks; Daily operational checks
- Ensuring compliance with all SQF (Safe Quality Food) guidelines, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), all Food Safety, Food Quality and Food Defense requirements and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) as applicable
- Ensuring methods and work standards are performed safely and in accordance with good manufacturing practices
- Recommending measures to improve safety, quality of products, production methods and team performance
- Monitoring data to identify issues and areas requiring improvements and develop plans to resolve them
- Participating on Plant committees (Safety and Food Safety) Product Development
- Other duties as assigned

Attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science
- Solid Understanding of HACCP, CFIA regulations
- Demonstrated drive to continuously improve operations
- Ability to confidently and professionally coach production team members to ensure top tier food processing standards
- Think with an analytical mind to assess risk and solve problems
- Aptitude for attention to detail

Compensation 50,000 - 70,000 depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
