Corrcoat Services is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician (or Quality Control Inspector) to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing in-process hold point inspections, as described in the customer specification, approved inspection, testing plan, and following the Quality Assurance Manual. The QCT shall document all significant aspects and observations of the job, reporting all discrepancies for technical resolution, and submitting Quality Control reports as required by the project.

This position will need to have the ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced environment, be adaptive, organized, flexible and a strong team player who can collaborate with others. Attention to detail for this role is also vital to maintain the set standards set by the customer and the company. This position will require travel to different various job sites across Canada.

**General Requirements**
- Work within the Corrcoat Health, Safety and Environmental Program and other government regulations.
- Responsible for the data collection and record keeping of their assigned project.
- Submission of collected data in a format acceptable to the Project Quality Assurance Lead.
- Shall report discrepancies to their immediate supervisor and verify corrective actions.
- Provide technical support to supervisors and the work force.
- Shall perform in house inspections as outlined in the customer specification, approved inspection and test plan and the Quality Assurance Manual.
- Coordinate with the Project Quality Assurance Lead with respect to changes in instructions, inspections, audits and training requirements.
- Review of all generated non-conformance reports related to the project.
- Participate in all training as required by the Quality Assurance Manager.

**Experience Requirement**
- Minimum NACE CIP Level 1
- 2+ years of experience in Industrial or Marine coatings, or other related field is preferred.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and good punctuality.
- Ability to follow direction and work in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain components of coating inspection equipment.
- Complete all required company and site HSE training.
- Legally able to work in Canada.
