**Ecclesiastical Insurance Canada**, who are proudly part of **Benefact Group**, are looking for a **Business Associate **to join our **Toronto** office.

We are seeking a Business Associate to join our Canadian team in Toronto. The Business Associate program provides recent graduates with the opportunity to acquire an understanding of every aspect of the business through department rotations - from underwriting and corporate services to risk control and claims services. Through hands-on learning and mentoring, each rotation is designed to develop specific technical and leadership skills.

Business Associates also participate in a Customer Development Placement within the community to develop an understanding of the types of organizations we serve. Lastly, the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) Program offered by the Insurance Institute of Canada forms part of the program, which is an internationally recognized professional designation. **Key responsibilities**
- To successfully complete each rotation based on the measures of success as determined by the department manager mentor.
- To achieve an understanding of the learning objectives for each rotation.
- To successfully complete all 10 Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses and obtain the CIP designation.
- To successfully complete a Customer Development Placement based on the measures of success.

**Knowledge, skills and experience**
***:

- Possess a university degree or college certification from a recognized learning institution
- Possess approximately 1 - 2 years of work or volunteer experience
- Express a strong desire to pursue a career in the commercial insurance industry
- Must be willing to commit to obtaining the CIP designation within three years
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to self-manage and multi-task within a team-based environment
- Must be adaptable and resourceful
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Possess excellent computer skills, with specific proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
