At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for an experienced **Social Worker - Emergency Department and In-Patient **to support our **Allied Health Department** at our **Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Job Requirements- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Experience with crisis counselling, brief counselling models and discharge planning
- Experience in a emergency department preferred, hospital experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability in individual and family counselling
- Knowledge of community resources
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in education and research
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record
