**Job Summary**:
As a Heavy Equipment Operator you will be responsible for the safe operation of various pieces of equipment (excavator, backhoe, skid steer) used in a variety of settings. Typical job duties will involve pre-operation inspections, daily maintenance of equipment and safe operation around vehicular and pedestrian traffic in tight situations whilst remaining productive.

**Job Requirements**:

- Valid BC driver’s license required (not all sites are transit accessible)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil construction sector (Excavation, trenching, shoring)
- Must be safety orientated, self-motivated and work well with others
- Able to work under pressure and work long hours as required
- Must be reliable, dependable and punctual

**Job Details**:

- Expected to work 40-50 hours per week
- Work is _generally_ limited to the Fraser Valley (Coquitlam to Chilliwack) area
- Pay to be based on commensuration, experience is an asset
