Responsibilities:

- Report to the Housekeeping Manager & Director of Housekeeping
- Assist in the opening and preparation of daily assignment sheets and generate and complete all opening reports for the Housekeeping Team.
- Conduct daily room inspections & VIP checks for conformance to prescribed standards of Forbes.
- Complete daily Forbes & LQA and key audits.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for any product related deficiencies and ensure resolution.
- Inspect and maintain all public areas and assign tasks to houseperson accordingly.
- Approve associate punch in and outs from the previous days during closing shift.
- Coordinate with Front Office team and assist in getting all rooms ready for arrivals.
- Quality check and identify stained or damaged linen and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard, notify third party laundry company and Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.
- Respond to requests from guests or management in a friendly, timely and efficient manner and ensure satisfactory follow up.
- Ensure all associates take their timely breaks and provide assistance when needed to complete assignments.
- Inspect Cafeteria and uniform room for supplies and locker rooms for cleanliness.
- Perform cleaning duties as needed.
- Excel in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
- Oversee any pressing and shoe shine requests and any uniform room requests.
- Coordinate and action any room changes and swapping of chocolate amenities.
- Assist in closing duties and assignment of Turn Down service to evening associates.
- Prepare DAS for the next day and reconfirm associate schedule as per operational requirement.
- Perform all closing duties and preparation of closing reports including Labor report and daily pass on.
- Ensure Uniform Room Policy & Procedures are followed and implemented by all associates.
- Responsible for inspections, tracking and monitoring room audits.
- Liaise between the Laundry company for guest laundry request and the Hotel under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager.
- Responsible for the inspections, tracking and delivery of guest clothing within the expected standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness levels for the Executive Offices and all public and staff spaces throughout the shift.
- Perform any special task or inventory projects as assigned by Housekeeping Manager and Director of Housekeeping.
- Ensure sufficient stock of guest and operating supplies and proper and safe use of hotel equipment by all associates.

Qualifications:

- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Opera Cloud and HotSoS.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior room supervisory experience
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
