**Your tasks will consist mainly of**:

- 80% client retention and 20% business development
- Meet with clients based on a pre-established schedule
- Assist, advise and support clients with their needs
- Manage and analyze each client's product portfolio
- Manage the company’s minimum margin, as well as transport costs
- Organize meetings between the client and the supplier
- Promote new products and new product lines
- Be in regular contact with the assigned internal representative in order to follow up on files
- Prepare a work plan for the week and establish a schedule of visits
- Work with the internal representative to track lost sales and follow up on them
- All other related tasks

**Qualifications and skills required**:

- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in sales
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of food products and food service (asset)
- Reside in, or have very good knowledge of, the region in question
- Good working knowledge of MS Office software, as well as strong experience with the use of integrated systems (ERPs and CRMs)
- Very good management of time, priorities and emergencies
- Interpersonal relationship / communication skills (self-control, listening skills, tact and diplomacy)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Curious, solution-oriented and strong motivation for teamwork and customer service
- Strong negotiation skills
