**Role**

You are a highly motivated, detail-oriented and hands-on individual who will join our technical team that owns the development of custom automation and inkjet solutions for a new generation of high speed, automated manufacturing equipment.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for assembly, problem resolution, troubleshooting, repair, documentation, spare parts and general support related to electrical, inkjet, PCB, UV curing and other control systems
- Conduct component level diagnostics of electronic units, audio-visual, lighting, distribution and computer control equipment.
- Participate in the design and development of custom solutions, P&ID diagrams, bills of material, technical specifications, improvement of systems and processes, component selection, calibration processes, and operating processes.
- Set-up and operate various test equipment and instruments

**Requirements**:

- College level diploma, electrical/electronics technician or technologist or mechatronics.
- 2 years' of working experience in electronics diagnostics and repair.
- Hands-on experience working with automation, industrial, processing equipment, and commissioning complex electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in working with inkjet systems, UV curing and Atmospheric Plasma is an asset
- Working knowledge of computer software and hardware repairs.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Hands-on experience operating measuring tools, manual and electronic measuring and testing equipment, basic hand tools, power tools and soldering tools.
- Demonstrated advanced technical troubleshooting skills (fault-finding down to component level).
- Problem-solving attitude and troubleshooting mindset.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
