Machinist / Set-up Technician

We are currently looking for a proactive and passionate Machinist / Set-up Technician, someone who is interested in growing with Dot Automation Inc.
Skill set should include:
- Methodical in assembly and disassembly of machines - drilling, tapping, machining, wiring & tubing
- Ability to travel to customers for service calls and servicing the customer as required
- Participate in installing, repairing and maintaining of machinery
- Ability to read drawings and identify potential problems
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues on projects
- Performance of regular PM on machines used
- Ability to work in a safe manner
- Maintenance of shop floor with 5S principals
- Must be detail oriented, working in a fast-paced environment
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- 2-4 years of technical experience
- 2-4 years of machining experience - Milling Machine
- College Degree Preferred or Trade Certification
- Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Thorough knowledge of GD&T
- Uninhibited ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, reach and grasp
- Must have own tools
- Must have valid Ontario driver's license
- Forklift License is an asset
