**Day in the Life**

As a service specialist, you’ll be the face of Grill Hero at our customers’ homes—performing high-quality grilling & appliance cleanings/servicing and delivering exceptional customer service. But you're more than just a technician: you're a trusted advisor. You’ll use your product knowledge and people skills to confidently recommend services, parts, and upgrades that improve the customer’s grilling experience. If you love hands-on work and enjoy helping people while increasing your earnings through upsells and incentives, this is the role for you.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Perform grill and appliance cleanings, minor repairs, and maintenance services.
- Confidently communicate service benefits and recommend relevant add-ons or upgrades.
- Identify and convert upsell opportunities to meet team and personal performance goals.
- Ensure each customer receives a 5-star experience from arrival to wrap-up.
- Provide feedback from the field that helps improve operations and customer experience.
- Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
- Accurately document job notes, photos, and customer interactions.

**Sales & Customer Growth**:

- Proactively educate customers on the value of service plans, rebookings, and additional services.
- Build rapport and trust to support the closing of on-site sales.
- Represent the Grill Hero brand with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in a service-based or customer-facing role (field sales, trades, or technical service preferred).
- Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- A track record of exceeding goals or quotas in a service/sales environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage your day in the field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

**Job Type**
- Full-time (weekend hours)

**Compensation**:

- Starting at $18 + Tips
- Mileage incurred during operations is compensated on top of hourly pay

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Additional pay:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
