Role Overview:
As a Strata Building Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our strata complex of 267 units. Your primary goal will be to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency while fostering positive relationships with residents and external service providers. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the strata complex operates smoothly and efficiently, meeting the needs and expectations of the residents and Strata Council.

Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years experience in property management, preferably with a focus on strata buildings.

Administrative experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to respond to emergencies outside of standard work hours with a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional event or weekend responsibilities

Thrives as a team player in challenging environments.

Valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficient in both spoken and written English

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Must pass reference and criminal record check

**Responsibilities**:
Supervise and coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and repair activities within the strata complex, including scheduling, overseeing, and supporting contractors as necessary.

Respond promptly to resident inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance or security issues, safety hazards, and compliance with strata bylaws and regulations.

Ensure that common areas are well-maintained, clean, and safe for residents and visitors.

Maintain the cleanliness and safety standards of common areas, and directly responsible for cleaning the pool and spa facilities.

Perform scheduled and on-demand maintenance duties, maintain inventory for repairs and cleaning, and keep a detailed record of activities and incidents in a logbook.

Attend monthly strata council meetings and formal annual strata meetings (AGM) upon Management request providing updates on building operations and recommending improvements or initiatives as needed.

Program Fobs, operate security cameras and save camera footage as needed

Maintain cleaning supplies for cleaning staff and other incidentals

Keep a daily log and write reports for Strata meetings

Perform other duties as needed by the Property Manager or Strata Council

Schedule:
Part-Time; Sun-Mon 8:30am to 4:30pm

Availability to respond to after-hour emergencies

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
