K2 Stone is seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Nanaimo, BC.

**Total compensation, including commission, will be $50,000 to $60,000 annually.**

**Job Summary**

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for assisting customers in person and on the phone at the K2 Stone showroom and storage facility located at C-2345 Delinea Place, Nanaimo, BC. As part of a team, the Inside Sales Representative will perform daily sales and marketing activities within the region including lead generation, some site visits, showroom/yard upkeep and maintenance, product quality control, and product inventory counts and control. The Inside Sales Representative is an important member of the K2 team and will be relied on to consistently improve K2’s service delivery. The Inside Sales Representative understands their role as brand ambassador and provides positive brand experiences to all customers.

**Job Duties**
- Oversee warehouse management including keeping precise inventory records and organizing freight orders
- Attain and consistently improve an excellent working knowledge level of K2’s products, industry installation standards, product uses and other relevant aspects of the natural stone business.
- Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Maintain product presentation and housekeeping standards in all areas of the product showroom in accordance with company policies
- Ensure excellent customer service by providing information, resolving problems, and answering questions for customers
- Solve customer problems and respond to customer complaints in a manner that makes K2’s best interest a priority AND creates good will with customers.
- Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Attends Trade Shows in rotation with other K2 Corporate personnel when requested
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding sales pipeline development and customer communication.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Prior sales experience, or experience in Masonry, Landscaping, Tool Rental, or Building Supply Industries.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in retail sales with exceptional customer service preferred.
- Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Motivated and creative team player.
- Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
