Finance & HR Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Finance**
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
**Human Resources**
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention strategies.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee relationships with external consultants and benefits providers.
**Payroll**:
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
**General**
- Prepare and participate in quarterly & annual Strategic Planning
- Develop a strong line of communication between the team and third parties
- Work with the Leadership team to implement processes within the company to meet our goals and objectives.
- Maintain a culture of respect, reliability and camaraderie within the team.
**Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- CHRP designation preferred
- Minimum 3-years experience in both finance and HR management roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of accuracy and detail.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and HR management system (Payworks/Indeed)
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Highly self motivated.
Quality Classrooms is a retailer of early education materials, serving customers across Canada. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
