To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for a Payroll/HR Analyst for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization. As our Payroll/HR Analyst , you would analyze , design , and improve HR and payroll processes and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance. This role partners with HR, Finance, and IT to identify issues, implement solutions, and enhance overall operations. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, knowledge of HR and payroll systems , and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Position Overview: Analyze and improve HR and payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and system effectiveness. Support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of payroll and HR systems; provide technical support and end-user training. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and compliance of HR and payroll data, including audits and regulatory adherence. Develop and maintain advanced reports and analytics to support HR and payroll. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assess risk, and update processes and systems accordingly. Provide operational and technical leadership , including backup to the Payroll Supervisor and support to payroll staff. Administer and oversee aspects of payroll processing, including union payroll requirements. Investigate and resolve internal and external payroll or HR inquiries and issues. Qualifications Needed: Payroll accounting certificate or related credential, with Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification required. 5–7 years of progressive payroll administration experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving , and customer service skills, with experience managing payroll data and systems. In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation. High level of accuracy and attention to detail , with strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with payroll and HR systems such as ADP, CMiC, or similar platforms. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Queries, Teams, and Outlook. Want to know more? Apply through our career board.
