This position is for a Traveling Superintendent position. We are in the process of building 30-40 car washes across the United States. You will not be considered unless you fill out the assessments and complete the video interview.
Smitty's Car Wash builds, owns & operates our car washes. We are professional, fast-paced, collaborative and our goal is to find quality Superintendents that has the ability to effectively communicate with subcontractors, has the organizational skills to manage multiple tasks at a time, and is well versed in sequencing a construction project.
Our Core Values include ALWAYS doing what you say you will do. Promptness to project sites, meetings, appointments, etc is a must. We have developed several processes and procedures to successfully establish our construction side of the Car Wash business. Attention to detail and knowing your plans are a MUST
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including permits, contracts, and change orders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team and coordinate multiple subcontractors
- Familiarity with construction estimating software is a plus
Pay: $115,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
